Uluwatu Bali is magical. There are many places to explore and discover but we love Uluwatu. These are our top 5 reasons why it’s the best place in Bali! First, here are our favorite beaches.
Bingin Beach
Take me back to this sunset! Complete with a seaside feast of fresh fish and Bintang beers, it’s the perfect way to end any day in Uluwatu Bali. Restaurants line the beach so shop around and check out what each of them offer. If you want to surf, the next beach is for you!
Padang Padang Beach in Uluwatu is beautiful! Cool water, cliffs around you, and huge waves for the Surfers!
Bingin Beach
Padang Padang Beach
Surfing, coconut juice and souvenirs! It’s a smaller beach with big charm. Try surfing, sun bathe on the sand, or rent an umbrella and relax. It gets crowded so come early and claim a spot. Keep an eye on your belongings as well, there are monkeys here! Next up is an amazing temple set high up on a cliff above the ocean!
Padang Padang Beach
Uluwatu Temple
Take an adventure to Uluwatu Temple; it’s set on a cliff and is breathtaking with such a gorgeous view! Prepare to be wowed! Purchase a sarong (we bought ours at Padang Padang beach) both men and women are required to wear them before entering. If you forget, sarongs are available to rent outside the gate. Hold onto your belongings, the monkeys here are very grabby. Don’t leave Uluwatu Temple without seeing our next item on the list. The beautiful costumes, chanting of the men, and the fire make this a must-see!
Fire Dance at Uluwatu Temple
For a little extra you can experience a traditional Balinese dance telling the story of Rama and Sita. You won’t want to miss this unforgettable event; beautiful costumes, amazing performers and exciting effects! Bring an umbrella and watch out for the fire!
