1. Road trip from Bangalore to Alapuzha
The Western Ghats are beautiful enough to mesmerize you and what better way than to take out your car and start the awesome journey from Bangalore till Alapuzha, famous for its backwaters and coconut groves. I , being an avid traveler undertook this road trip about 3 years back and I have just one word to say “its exotic”! Phew!
2. From Gujarat to Kanyakumari
This trip promises you enough adventure along the way and is pretty long and exciting. Come be a part of colorful India as you wiz by the country side that abounds in natural wealth and witness the beauty of towns like Malvan, Tarkali and Ratnagiri.
3. The Golden Triangle
With a superb expressway, there cannot be a better trip other than taking the road trip that starts from Delhi and takes you through Agra and Jaipur. The roads are excellent for easy maneuvering and are dotted with restaurants and dhabas.
4. Delhi-Jaipur-Pushkar
This trip would give you a glimpse of the beautiful and majestic state of Rajasthan and also a chance to see the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma at Pushkar and enjoy the delectable Rajasthani cuisine at various specialty hotels like Chokhi Dhani.
5. Konkan car drive
The Konkan Coast is mesmerizing and is dotted with palm fringed beaches, casuarinas, temples, forts and palaces.
6. The spellbinding Karnataka road trip
Drive your way through Bangalore and reach Mysore to see the colossal Mysore Palace and the BRINDAVAN Gardens. Thereafter, hop on further to reach Madikeri, a quite hill station that has surplus natural wealth to enthrall you.

This particular road trip is my favorite and I have traveled on it a couple of times. You can start at New Jalpaiguri and take the beautiful road trip to reach Darjeeling and further to Gangtok to view the mighty Kanchenjunga peak.
9. The South beckons you
Take the coastal highway and drive through the lush green locales of Eastern Ghats. Start your journey from Chennai and reach the French town of Pondicherry to get enthralled with the natural surroundings that the coastal town has to offer. A drive to the famous AuroVille will leave you mesmerized.
10. Drive through Jawahar Tunnel
One of the best road trips is the one that you undertake from Jammu to Srinagar. Here, be prepared to travel through the many tunnels specially the Jawahar Tunnel that will take your breath away.
